Hilltop and lakeside
neighborhoods connect forested parks on nature paths and some rough trails along
the shores of Lacamas and Round Lakes, and above Fallen Leaf Lake, part of
Camas’ newest park. A rocky/tree-rooted forested path downhill from above Fallen
Leaf Lake offers beautiful views of this little-known gem through the forested
canopy. Hiking shoes and poles will help you navigate the 6/10 km hike. An
easier 5 km distance is on smoother paths near and along all the lakes.
Strollers not recommended on the 2B routes, and 5k (1B) strollers may have
difficulty across the narrow Round Lake Dam and fish wheel. No routes are
suitable for wheelchairs. Important
– do not park in restaurant lot. Park across the street on shoulder of NE 35th
Avenue or in the park's overflow parking lot on the left side of 35th.
