5/10 km, Rated 2BThis campus setting contrasts nicely with a surrounding rural atmosphere. Experience public art, stately brick architecture, and ponds, meadows and mature forests. Cross a wooden bridge over Mill Creek, pass a historic pioneer cabin site, walk beside hay fields, through wetlands and a riparian restoration project. Country and mountain views, including Mt. St. Helens, Mt. Adams, and Mt. Hood.
Many of the jogging paths and interpretive trails follow foot paths and game trails established by original homesteaders long ago. Surfaces include sidewalks, paved campus paths, and bark/wood chip nature trails. Three short sets of steps.
Restrooms and water available at registration and on campus (buildings are closed major holidays). Leashed pets OK with proper clean-up. Strollers must negotiate steps; not suitable for wheelchairs. WSC: Restaurants – American.
